My love for woodworking started as a child, watching my uncle create beautiful things from what seemed to be just plain ol' wood. I got my first taste when I was 16 building custom log homes in East Texas, I immediately fell in love with all of it. From the building and design process to the gratification of a job well done, I was hooked. Through the years I've work my way up from a laborer to the supervisor of a construction company, yet carpentry has always remained my passion. - Shay S.
